Targeted advertising?

When reading Facebook I am frequently presented with a particular advert, which I presume I’m being shown because of my age and gender.

  1. Don’t knock ’em Bob. After my surgery in the spring I found them kinda handy! Better than the female version. Tried them for six weeks and I still couldn’t swim, play tennis or ride a horse. Why do the knowing claim such false benefits of products? 😉

      Errm, I can’t swim/play tennis/ride a horse either. Never have been able too and don’t think a rubber band is going to help much, no matter where I wear it! 😀

  2. In retrospect I suppose the rubber bands would come in handy at the bottom of your trouser legs if you select an insufficiently absorbent level of pad…
