Most people who have had the misfortune to visit London will recognise, and be able to follow, the iconic diagrammatic Underground map.

So I find it strange that there should be any need to issue a new map showing the actual locations of the stations in relation to each other. If you know your way around the city’s streets you don’t need this map.


If you do not know your way around you are going to get lost when you try walking from one station to another. I know which map I’d rather follow the next time I’m trying to get across The Smoke and it’s very definitely not the one shown above!
