My old friend Colin and I met for lunch in Birmingham on Monday. We caught the tram out to Benson Road and walked from there to the Black Eagle.
On the way we crossed a disused railway bridge but could not determine which line it used to be.
It turns out that the railway was not actually part of the local network but just a short industrial spur off the line to Walsall.
So, we were not lost after all, we just didn’t know where we were!
